About the position

The Subject Matter Expert - Technical Project Manager will provide critical support in project management and systems engineering for U.S. Government clients, particularly in the Law Enforcement domain. This role involves leading technology assignments, establishing performance objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of project requirements. The position emphasizes a culture of accountability and offers flexibility in managing work hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership on major technology assignments.
• Establish goals and plans to meet assessment objectives.
• Possess expert technical knowledge of various technologies used by Law Enforcement domains.
• Define performance objectives and performance levels.
• Understand and describe anomalies/flaws in decision-making of application development or acquisition.
• Validate requirements and deliverables of products and services that projects/programs produce.
• Resolve issues regarding program deliverables of various law enforcement technologies.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in IT or Engineering field.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• DHS suitability clearance.
• Experience with Department of Homeland Security.
• Experience in systems engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation, sustainment.
• Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g., ALF and MD-102).
• Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.
• Excellent writing, communications, and briefing skills.
• Certifications from DAU and DAWIA in Acquisition or test and evaluation.
