About the position

As a Subpoena Compliance Program Manager, you will oversee litigation and investigation matters involving government entities and regulators, ensuring timely and accurate responses to subpoenas and similar data requests. This role requires collaboration with in-house attorneys, outside counsel, and various internal teams to manage the subpoena compliance program effectively. The position emphasizes diversity and inclusion, aiming to recruit and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Intuit's end-to-end process for responding to subpoenas and other third-party requests for information.
  • Collaborate closely with Intuit lawyers, litigation professionals, and outside counsel, keeping internal stakeholders informed.
  • Coordinate with business teams, enabling functions, and IT to identify, collect, and review responsive data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely responses to subpoenas.
  • Update, improve, and oversee all processes around subpoenas, driving for efficiencies, automation, and streamlined workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to subpoena compliance.
  • Provide general litigation support to in-house attorneys, including gathering information to assist in legal advice.
  • Support processes governing legal holds, eDiscovery, and document preservation.
  • Drive or contribute to department and team projects and priorities.
  • Take on increasingly complex responsibilities and proactively solve problems independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of prior experience with managing subpoenas.
  • Detailed understanding of all aspects of subpoena processes, responses, workflows, and best practices.
  • Strong litigation mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to balance risk and opportunity while enabling smart business decisions.
  • Curiosity and a continuous learning attitude, with a focus on problem-solving and improvement.
