About the position
The Subrogation Claims Team at Great West Casualty Company is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist in the claims department while providing exceptional customer service to insureds and claimants involved in the subrogation process. This role emphasizes accuracy, prioritization, and effective communication, requiring the ability to multitask and work independently in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Secure information from other insurance carriers and claimants.
- Process requests, complete applicable state forms, conduct asset searches, and request police reports.
- Provide support for team members by drafting correspondence, completing weekly/monthly reports, and processing outgoing letters.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Above average organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Thorough knowledge of and ability to utilize Word, Excel, and other PC/Windows based software.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on individual projects while functioning as a team player.
