About the position
Play & Learn is seeking on-call substitute teachers for early childhood education, offering a flexible part-time role where educators can choose their own hours. The position involves working at various locations throughout Montgomery County, PA, and requires maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.
- Be available for early morning and on-call assignments.
- Work with all age groups from 6 weeks to 6 years.
- Travel between various Play & Learn locations as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of formal childcare experience in daycare, preschool, school, or nursery.
- Valid Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and engage in physical activities with children.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in toddler care.
