About the position
The Substitute Custodian is responsible for cleaning buildings, which includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash. This position is called in on an as-needed basis, providing flexibility in work hours.
Responsibilities
- Clean buildings including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be reliable and of good moral character.
- Must meet criminal background check.
- Cleaning experience preferred; must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects.
- Must have a NJ Black Seal License.
Nice-to-haves
- Cleaning experience preferred.
Benefits
- Salary: $17.00 per hour effective 1/1/24
