About the position

The Substitute Early Childhood Educator at Royal Kids Academy Early Learning Center is responsible for delivering quality instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of regular teachers. Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and instructional materials provided by the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Engage students in meaningful activities that promote learning and development.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs of students, including those with special education requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive school community.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues or concerns to school administration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in childhood development or early childhood education required.
• Experience working with students in various educational settings, including private schools or special education environments.
• Strong classroom management skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Literacy Education practices and Curriculum Development.
• Knowledge of Montessori methods or other alternative educational approaches.
