About the position
The Escondido Union School District is seeking eligible candidates to create a current Substitute Pool List to fill daily and weekly vacancies during the 2023-2024 Academic School Year. The hours, sites, and number of days worked may vary based on the need for substitutes. Candidates must attach a current Food Handler's Certificate from the County of San Diego with their application before the filing deadline. Certificates from other sources will not be accepted. A computer is available at the EUSD District Office for applicant use to complete the online application. Candidates should monitor their email for communication from the district regarding their application status.
Responsibilities
- Fill daily and weekly vacancies as needed during the academic year.
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certificate from the County of San Diego.
- Complete all required application and examination processes.
Requirements
- Must possess a current Food Handler's Certificate from the County of San Diego.
- Must subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance.
- Must submit to a general tuberculosis examination.
- Must be fingerprinted and complete a pre-placement physical examination.
- Must show proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
