About the position
The Bi-County Collaborative is looking for part-time substitute paraprofessionals for the 2024-2025 school year. The role focuses on providing support in specialized educational programs for students with various disabilities, ensuring that each student receives personalized educational programming tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing educational programs for students with disabilities.
- Support students in their learning and social development.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lessons and activities for diverse learners.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or working with students with disabilities.
- Ability to support students with varying abilities and challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and understanding in working with students with special needs.
