About the position

The Co-Director at Infinity Math Preschool LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the Center Director in maintaining the health, safety, and educational quality for children. This part-time position involves collaborating with staff to ensure effective curriculum delivery and meeting the needs of students, particularly in the absence of the Lead Director. The Co-Director is also responsible for overseeing staff and ensuring compliance with center guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.
• Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Oversee all employees (lead teacher, aftercare teacher, substitute, and a max of 10 students).

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must clear full background and central registry check.
• Must pass health screening and TB test.
• Must be able to provide 3 letters of reference.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or child psychology with at least 18 credit hours in child development or early childhood.

Nice-to-haves

• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire).
