About the position

The Substitute Preschool Teacher is responsible for conducting educational program activities for assigned classes, following the curriculum set by the board, and ensuring a supportive learning environment for preschool children. This full-time position requires collaboration with the Site Director and adherence to educational standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a program of instruction to achieve the overall objectives of the Center, educationally and socially.
• Have direct responsibility for the conduct of all educational program activities for the assigned class.
• Assist in the development of all necessary curriculums for the program.
• Assist in the delivery of all activities at the Center and conduct such activities in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the needs and background of the participants.
• Maintain classroom facilities in an orderly and sanitary manner.
• Attend all scheduled training required for the position.

Requirements

• Valid NJ Substitute Teaching Certification (Required)
• Associate's degree (Required)
