As a Substitute Preschool Teacher at Acelero Learning, you will play a crucial role in supporting early childhood education programs that aim to create positive outcomes for children and their families. This position is part-time and located in North Las Vegas, NV. You will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to ensure the successful operation of the classroom, providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Adhering to Acelero Learning's policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other operational aspects of the center is a critical part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
  • Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance approaches to manage challenging behaviors
  • Encourage family involvement in the Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
  • Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations

Requirements

  • Commitment and passion to work with children and families
  • Effective communication and written skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Certification preferred
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
