About the position
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual for the position of Substitute Spanish Teacher at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School. This position is effective from October 14, 2024, through January 3, 2025. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and hold the appropriate Ohio Certification/Licensure. While prior teaching experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role requires a strong ability to work effectively with others, communicate ideas and directives clearly both orally and in writing, and demonstrate practical active listening skills. Organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with basic computer and keyboarding skills. Patience and understanding are also critical attributes for success in this role. As a Substitute Spanish Teacher, the individual will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, implementing lesson plans, and ensuring that students are engaged and learning effectively. The candidate must be able to adapt to various classroom situations and provide support to students in their language acquisition journey. Benefits
- Salary ranging from $125 to $135 per day.
