About the position

The Substitute Special Education Aide position at Edustaff involves assisting licensed Special Education teachers in implementing instructional programs for students with developmental disabilities. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community by working in local schools, providing support in both group and one-on-one settings, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist a licensed Special Education teacher in implementing instructional programs.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom discipline.
• Lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher or SPED Aide.
• Help maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid WI SPED Aide License through the WI DPI.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
