About the position

We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers and Teacher Assistants to join our team at Peace of Mind Professional Educators in Bartlett, TN. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity and providing a positive learning environment for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your responsibilities will include implementing lesson plans left by the absent teacher to ensure that students' educational progress continues seamlessly. You will also manage classroom behavior and create a conducive learning atmosphere, providing support and guidance to students in various subjects. It is essential to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students and communicate effectively with school staff regarding any concerns or issues that arise during the day. As a Teacher Assistant, your role will involve helping teachers prepare lesson materials, setting up and tidying classrooms for lessons, and working with students to ensure they understand the material. You will be responsible for recording and reporting the progress students make, looking after children who are upset or unwell, and leading classes with help from the teacher. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives while gaining valuable experience in the field of education. We have various shifts available across our locations, including Infant, Toddler, Pre-K, and Preschool teachers, with hours ranging from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Requirements
