About the position
The Seasonal Substitute Teacher for Preschool/Infant/Toddler program at The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc. plays a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young children in a nurturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with children aged 0 to 5, engaging them in play-based activities and ensuring a positive learning experience. The role requires flexibility to work at multiple sites across Calaveras County, collaborating with a team of educators to create a stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with children in the Preschool/Infant/Toddler program.
- Support children's growth and development through play-based activities.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Maintain a safe and compliant environment for children.
- Engage actively with children to promote their development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 Early Childhood Education units or 3 ECE units and currently enrolled in an additional 3 units.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
- Health screenings, proof of current negative TB test, and necessary immunizations (measles, pertussis, and influenza).
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail and organization.
