About the position

The Substitute Teacher for Regular/Special Education position is designed for individuals who are available to work on an on-call basis, primarily in K-12 educational settings and Child Care Centers. This role requires a commitment to be available for at least three days each week, ensuring that educational continuity is maintained in the absence of regular teachers. Substitute teachers will be responsible for implementing lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning activities. The position is crucial in supporting the educational process and providing a stable learning environment for students during teacher absences. Substitute teachers will be expected to adapt to various classroom environments and grade levels, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to work with diverse student populations.
