About the position

The Substitute Teacher position with ESS/willSub offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on education by stepping in for absent teachers across various schools in Ionia County. This role is essential for maintaining the continuity of education, allowing substitute teachers to implement lesson plans and support students in their learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration

Requirements

• Completion of at least 60 college/university credit hours
• FBI Criminal History Clearance
• A Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit
