About the position

The Licensed Substitute Teacher position at Learning Exchange involves providing educational support to students in non-public schools within Milwaukee County. Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans left by the regular interventionist.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Communicate effectively with the instructional leaders or staff at Learning Exchange.
• Bring small groups of students to your classroom for small group learning according to a curriculum provided.
• Provide secular instruction to students in a variety of school settings.
• Foster a love for learning through engaging educational activities.

Requirements

• Current, valid provisional or lifetime DPI Teacher License in Wisconsin.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Ability to work with students with special needs.
• Familiarity with teaching math and reading.
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and parents.
