About the position

Stellar Virtual is seeking dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teachers to support our virtual K-12 classrooms. This part-time, fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality instruction and maintain continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teachers. Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with pre-prepared lesson plans for K-12 students in various subjects.
• Manage virtual classroom activities, ensuring a productive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Facilitate student engagement and participation through virtual teaching platforms.
• Monitor and assess student performance and provide feedback as necessary.
• Address student questions and support their academic needs during class sessions.
• Collaborate with school staff and administrators to maintain instructional quality and alignment.
• Report attendance, participation, and any student concerns to the assigned supervisor.
• Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and state-specific educational guidelines.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required.
• A valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or Substitute Certificate.
• Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace for virtual teaching.
• Experience teaching in a virtual classroom environment.
• Familiarity with Arizona state educational standards.
