About the position

Victory Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic substitute teacher to maintain the high standard of education when full-time teachers are unavailable. This part-time role involves implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students across various grade levels from kindergarten through high school.

Responsibilities

• Implementing lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Supervising students in and out of the classroom.
• Assisting students with assignments and addressing their needs during the day.
• Communicating any necessary information to school administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; associate degree or relevant experience also accepted.
• Teaching certification is a plus but not required.
• Previous teaching or childcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and grade levels.
