About the position

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and Christian Substitute Teacher to provide exceptional educational experiences to students in our school. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching and have a strong commitment to helping children learn and grow. You will be responsible for providing instructional support to students in various subjects, including art, music, PE, and Spanish, while following the lesson plans provided and the curriculum requirements of our school. In this role, you will demonstrate and provide a positive and professional attitude towards students, faculty, staff, and parents. You will support students to ensure that their academic needs are met, applying and enforcing school procedures, policies, and safety practices. Individualized support will be provided to students who require extra help, and you will manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing school rules and procedures. Collaboration with other teachers and school staff will be essential to ensure a smooth transition of classes and to maintain consistency in teaching practices. Additionally, you will maintain discipline in accordance with the school's Code of Conduct and perform other duties as required by the school administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students in various subjects, including art, music, PE, and Spanish.

Requirements

• Childcare Teaching Certification
• 3 years of experience working with children
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in preschool settings
• Strong literacy education skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
