We are hiring substitutes at Morris Jeff Community Schools for the 2024/2025 School Year! This position is ideal for individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of students. As a substitute teacher, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide students, helping them to become the best versions of themselves. Substitutes play a crucial role in ensuring that students continue to learn and grow every day, even in the absence of their regular teachers. This role is not just about filling in; it’s about empowering students to engage in their education and encouraging classroom participation. Substitutes may also be referred to as substitute educators, guest teachers, or relief teachers. Additionally, substitute aides may be known as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aides, instructional assistants, classroom assistants, or education assistants. No previous experience is required for this role, making it accessible for anyone interested in education. Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years of age and having a high school diploma or GED. For long-term assignments, you may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments.
