About the position
Township High School District 211 is seeking qualified candidates to serve as substitute teachers or substitute teacher assistants in all of its schools. District 211, the largest high school district in Illinois, is comprised of 7 school buildings including Palatine High School, Fremd High School, Conant High School, Schaumburg High School, Hoffman Estates High School, Higgins Education Center, and District 211 North Campus.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), Substitute Teaching License, or a Short-Term Substitute License to serve as a Substitute Teacher.
- Those who hold a Paraprofessional License and have earned a Bachelor's degree are also qualified to substitute teach.
- Candidates must hold a Paraprofessional License or a Substitute Teaching License to serve as a Substitute Teacher Assistant.
