About the position
The 7th Grade Substitute Teacher position at an accredited Charter School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a temporary, full-time role focused on providing educational support in the classroom. The teacher will be responsible for following lesson plans, maintaining classroom order, and contributing to the school's mission and culture.
Responsibilities
- Follow classroom rules and lesson plans provided for each assignment.
- Be punctual and reliable every day.
- Update own schedule and communicate openly with the administrator.
- Actively participate in shaping the school culture.
Requirements
- Valid Teaching Certification license preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in teaching K-12 is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience working with children is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Active PA teaching license is preferred.
