About the position

The Learning Loft of Dickson County is seeking substitute teachers to provide responsive care and support for preschool and toddler-aged children. The role involves assisting with daily care and ensuring a nurturing environment for young learners. Positions may be full-time or part-time, with a commitment of 20-40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care of preschool or toddler-aged children
• Provide responsive care and support
• Engage actively with children
• Understand and apply developmental needs of children
• Familiarize with ITERS and ECERS standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Background check
• Physical (Health) examination
• Pre-Service Training (paid & provided)
• References
• CPR/First Aid certification (paid and provided)

• Experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Eager and dependable
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Understanding of developmental needs of children
• TECTA training
