About the position

We are hiring Substitute Teachers for Honolulu's Private and Charter Schools, specifically for Saint Mark Lutheran. The 2024-2025 School Year is upon us, and we are eager to provide support to our school partner. In this position, you will assume the duties of the classroom teacher, following the school district's lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. You will lead instruction by conducting the existing lesson plans, assigning reasonable tasks and homework, and empowering students to learn while encouraging classroom participation. It is essential to create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and tailored to the abilities and interests of the students, adapting to their various learning styles. Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.
• Lead instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans, assigning reasonable tasks and homework.
• Empower students to learn and encourage classroom participation.
• Build a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students, adapting to various learning styles.
