About the position
This recruitment is to establish a Substitute Teacher pool for SLOCOE Special Education and Alternative Education classrooms located throughout San Luis Obispo County. Classroom settings include: Intensive Therapeutic Learning (ED), Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Juvenile Court School and Community School. Valid current California teaching credential such as Multiple Subject, Single Subject and Education Specialist preferred. 30 day substitute permits are acceptable. Requirements
- Valid current California teaching credential such as Multiple Subject, Single Subject and Education Specialist preferred
- 30 day substitute permits are acceptable
- Experience teaching Special Education and/or at-promise youth
- Strong classroom management skills
