About the position

The Substitute Teacher - Special Education position is a temporary role requiring a qualified individual to fill in for regular teachers during their absence. This position is specifically focused on special education, ensuring that students with diverse needs receive appropriate instruction and support during the specified dates.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to special education students in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and needs.

Requirements

• Appropriate Substitute Teacher Licensure.
• Current Substitute Teacher with SWO-COG through the Butler County Educational Service Center.
