About the position

The Substitute Teacher position with ESS/willSub offers an opportunity to make a difference in the community by providing essential classroom instruction in the absence of regular teachers. This role is integral to the educational team, allowing individuals to enhance their teaching skills while supporting students' learning experiences. The position offers flexible hours and the chance to work in various local school districts.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration

Requirements

• Completion of at least 60 college/university credit hours
• FBI Criminal History Clearance
• A Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit (ESS will apply for one on your behalf)
