Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance approaches to manage challenging behaviors
• Encourage family involvement in the Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations

Requirements

• Commitment and passion to work with children and families
• Effective communication and written skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Substitute Certification preferred, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
• Eagerness to adopt values such as Data-informed Learning, Transparent & Open Communication, Growth Mindset, Dismantling Inequities, and Caring Teams & Community
