About the position

Cien Aguas International School in Albuquerque, NM is seeking dedicated substitute teachers for our K-8th Dual Language classrooms. This role is essential in providing continuity of education for our students in the absence of their regular teachers. Substitute teachers will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring a positive learning environment. The ideal candidates will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering a supportive educational atmosphere for all students. This position is part-time, with expected hours ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week, primarily on weekdays. There are no weekend responsibilities, and the work will be conducted in person at our school location.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students in their learning and engagement during class.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.

Requirements

• Hold a current NM Substitute License.
• Pass a background check.
