The Substitute Teacher position at Guidepost Montessori is an on-call role that supports multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms in Beaverton and Hillsboro. Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for full-time teachers who are out sick or on vacation.
• Support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms.
• Engage with children in a warm and friendly manner.
• Follow the Montessori teaching methods as guided by the full-time teachers.

Requirements

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid state background check.
• Warm and friendly demeanor.
• Registered in the Oregon Central Background Registry.

Nice-to-haves

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
• Recent teaching experience with children aged 0-6.
