About the position
We are seeking dedicated and qualified Substitute Teachers for permanent per diem positions. This role is essential in providing continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teachers. Substitute Teachers will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring a productive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans left by the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide instruction to students in accordance with the lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a substitute teacher
