This position offers flexible work days, allowing you to work Monday through Friday, with availability from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We also offer half-day schedules from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM, perfect for those seeking a balanced work-life schedule. Additionally, we provide opportunities for substitutes in our after-school program, which runs from 2:00 PM to 6:00/6:30 PM. In this role, you will implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, ensuring a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students. You will create a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation, minimizing distractions, and maintaining classroom order. Supervising students during classroom activities and in various settings, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias, is also a key responsibility. For long-term substitutes, you will collaborate with department heads to develop lesson plans that align with the regular teacher's objectives. This position allows you to work with students across K-12 grades, adapting your teaching methods to meet the needs of each unique learner and connect with school leaders to make a lasting impact in the education community.
