About the position

The Substitute Teacher position at Delta-T Group involves providing temporary teaching services in K-12 schools across Glendale, Peoria, and Phoenix. The role requires following lesson plans left by the regular teacher, maintaining classroom routines, and ensuring a conducive learning environment. Substitute Teachers are expected to uphold school policies and maintain confidentiality regarding student information.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parents/guardians.
• Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules and administrative regulations.

Requirements

• Must have a current and valid Sub Cert from the AZ Department of Education.
• Must have a Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card IVP issued by DPS.
• Must have at least 6 months experience teaching.
