About The Position
The Substitute Teaching Assistant for Special Education (SPE) is responsible for supporting students with behavioral management needs and/or physical disabilities within the GST BOCES Region. This role involves assisting with instruction, implementing lesson plans, and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. The position requires physical capability to meet the diverse needs of students, including heavy lifting and physical interventions, while exemplifying the values of service, leadership, collaboration, and integrity.
