The Subsystem AI Engineer at Lenovo will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience of our PC devices by leveraging data generated from various subsystems, particularly focusing on battery and wireless functionalities. This position requires a deep understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence to develop algorithms that can efficiently utilize the data collected from these subsystems. The engineer will collaborate closely with suppliers and system development teams to identify the necessary data and ensure its effective application in improving device performance. In this role, the engineer will analyze battery usage data to model user behavior, identifying patterns and differences across various brands and geographical locations. This analysis will not only help in understanding how users interact with battery power but also in developing strategies to optimize battery life and performance. Additionally, the engineer will work on enhancing Wi-Fi connectivity by utilizing on-board telemetry data, ensuring that users have a seamless and reliable internet experience. The position also involves evaluating qualification data against field data to refine testing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. A key project will be driving the AI Battery charge control proof of concept (PoC) to implementation, integrating it with the broader system architecture to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction and device reliability.
