About the position

The Subway Production Manager II at CulinArt Group is responsible for overseeing food production management at Stony Brook University. This role involves developing production schedules, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing budgets, and maintaining high-quality service standards. The position requires strong leadership skills to train and support team members while ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and supervise production schedules to ensure flawless execution
  • Assess resources and project needs, strictly adhering to company goals
  • Ensure client and customer happiness by delivering high-quality products
  • Coordinate the production process to meet and exceed goals
  • Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Compliance regulations
  • Maintain all BRAND standards
  • Identify, fix, and solve any concerns in the production process
  • Establish budgets, predict spending, and handle accounts
  • Communicate goals and targets effectively; empower and support team members
  • Train and provide oversight to team members, ensuring detailed performance
  • Handle disputes among team members with a collaborative approach
  • Perform inventory checks and order necessary supplies
  • Manage P&L, including labor cost, food cost, paper goods, and site expenses

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; B.S. or equivalent experience is acceptable
  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in direct food service operational management experience in a restaurant, hotel, country club, or similar setting
  • Proficient in inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Excellent knowledge of food and catering trends passionate about quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Outstanding customer service skills and experience
  • Experience with P&L
  • ServSafe® certified

Nice-to-haves

  • Contract-managed service experience is a plus
