About the position

The Sandwich Artist at Subway is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by greeting and serving customers, preparing food items, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. This role involves using a Point of Sale system for transactions and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. The position is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, with a focus on immediate hiring.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
• Use Point of Sale system to record orders and compute bills.
• Perform cash-in procedures, accounting for all forms of money during the shift.
• Prepare food neatly and in a timely manner according to formula.
• Check products in the sandwich unit area and restock items as needed.
• Adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation and service.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
• Understand and adhere to all quality standards and procedures as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Complete University of Subway courses as directed.

Requirements

• Some high school education or equivalent is required.
• No previous experience required.
