About the position

The Success Coach at New Beginnings Group Home is responsible for overseeing the daily routines of residents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and helping youth develop independent living skills. This role involves coordinating daily operations, teaching life skills, and acting as a liaison between the community and the group home. The Success Coach will work closely with the Administrator and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to implement individualized service plans for each resident.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident's normal daily routines.
• Coordinate daily operations as outlined in policies and procedures.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and positive environment which includes light cleaning of home.
• Teach residents daily living activities and independent living skills.
• Document all behavior, resident's location, school records, chores.
• Assist with preparing meals for residents.
• Model positive behavior for residents.
• Assist with grocery and food shopping.
• Provide transportation for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality as it relates to case files, group home marketing and publicity.
• Act as liaison between the community, schools, families, neighbors.
• Participate in all training for employees, as required by ODJFS/OFC & NBGH.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• First Aid Certification is required.
• Experience in working with youth is preferred.
• Ability to pass FBI and BCII background checks.
