About the position

The SUD Treatment Program Manager at CRI-Help is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Socorro Residential program, a substance use disorder treatment center. This role involves developing community relations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and facilitating treatment programs. The manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of care provided to clients and supports the mission of improving community welfare through effective substance use disorder treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain community relations.
  • Assist in identifying staff training needs and work collaboratively with the Clinical Director to develop and implement programs that address needs.
  • Supervise the Chief Support Technician, CDWs, Senior CDWs, Group Facilitators, Lead Group Facilitators, AOD Counselor interns, and other staff, as appropriate.
  • Oversee and supervise all daily activities.
  • Review employment applications, screen candidates, and interview applicants.
  • Co-facilitate weekly staff meetings and case conferences with the Senior CDW and the Clinical Director.
  • Review chart documentation and status reports prepared by program staff to ensure all legal, contractual, and revenue goals are met or exceed required Agency and applicable regulatory agencies' standards.
  • Regularly review and respond to incident and information reporting, in conjunction with the Clinical Director.
  • Ensure that all clinical staff complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures and/or other reporting data in a timely and high-quality fashion.
  • Facilitate groups, outings, and educational classes, as needed.
  • Participate as a member of the Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, Grievance Resolution, and Strategic Planning Committees.
  • Identify high-risk clients who may benefit from a Behavioral Wellness/Safety Plan.
  • Develop and monitor treatment documentation systems, and update as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, and recommend salary increases.
  • Stay up-to-date on all state and county clinical standards to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure safety, security, cleanliness, and upkeep of facility.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new staff members.
  • Coordinate clinical strategies working with the Clinical Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Master's Degree strongly preferred in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a Bachelor's degree in a related behavioral health field.
  • Certification as an SUD counselor with one of the California-approved addiction counselor certification entities (i.e., CADTP, CAADE, or CCAPP).
  • A minimum of 4 years of management and/or clinical experience.
