About the position

The Construction Project Engineer Internship at Structural Group Inc. is a developmental role designed to cultivate future leaders through the Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) Program. This hands-on internship offers exposure to various aspects of construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, safety management, and client relations. Interns will work closely with multiple mentors and gain practical experience in managing vertical concrete repair projects, preparing them for dynamic career paths within the company.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in scheduling and estimating budget preparation.
• Assist in project cost control and production rate tracking.
• Participate in safety management and quality control management.
• Engage in business development and client relations activities.
• Collaborate with mentors across various expertise areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for solving problems.
• Reliable transportation from the office to jobsites.
