About the position

The Summer 2025 Cybersecurity Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Internship at T-Mobile offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity. This 12-week paid internship allows participants to work closely with the Endpoint Cyber Tools team, contributing to the setup and configuration of advanced endpoint security solutions while developing essential skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and configure next-gen endpoint security tools that keep our digital world safe.
• Monitor endpoint security alerts and respond to issues as they arise.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend fixes to enhance device security.
• Collaborate with the team to create and test effective security policies for endpoints.
• Contribute to improving detection and response capabilities within the team.
• Evaluate new endpoint security technologies and tools.
• Document findings and prepare reports on endpoint security trends and improvements.
• Maintain and update security documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit).
• Basic understanding of network security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months, or be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program.
