About the position

The Summer 2025 Equity Research MBA Internship at Janus Henderson Investors offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for MBA students to gain hands-on experience in equity research. Interns will work closely with experienced analysts on specific sector teams, engaging in fundamental research, financial modeling, and presenting investment recommendations. This 10-week program, held in Denver, aims to develop the interns' analytical skills and industry knowledge while contributing to real projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with equity research analysts on a specific sector team.
• Perform fundamental research on industries, end-markets, companies, and/or products.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including market segmentation and competitive analysis.
• Develop expertise in data resources like Bloomberg to aid the research process.
• Build financial and valuation models.
• Deliver presentations discussing investment conclusions and recommendations to sector and portfolio teams.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year MBA program with a graduation date in 2026.
• Strong academic record.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, investment management, and/or economics.
• Exceptional analytical and research skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge, including experience with financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
