About the position

The Equity Research Summer MBA Internship at Janus Henderson is a 10-week program designed for MBA students to gain hands-on experience in equity research. Interns will work closely with experienced analysts on specific sector teams, conducting fundamental research, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses, and developing financial models. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts while contributing to real projects and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with equity research analysts on a specific sector team.
• Perform fundamental research on industries, end-markets, companies, and/or products.
• Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analyses, including market segmentation and competitive analysis.
• Develop expertise in data resources such as Bloomberg.
• Build financial and valuation models.
• Deliver presentations discussing investment conclusions and recommendations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year MBA program with a graduation date in 2026.
• Strong academic record.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, investment management, and/or economics.
• Exceptional analytical and research skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge, including experience with financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
