About The Position

The Summer 2025 Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) clinical rotation at CVS Health's MinuteClinic locations provides an opportunity for FNP students to gain hands-on experience in ambulatory care settings. This program is designed to meet academic standards while offering practical education in clinic operations, patient interaction, and healthcare delivery. Students will work under the guidance of experienced preceptors and will be involved in various aspects of clinic management and patient care.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program with an executed Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic.
• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of precepting.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 50 hours and a maximum of 240 hours in clinical rotation.
• Engage in patient interactions and clinical assessments under supervision.
• Participate in specialized online training related to ambulatory care.
• Gain exposure to electronic medical records (EMR) and clinic operations.
• Understand the integration of MinuteClinic within the broader healthcare delivery system.
