About the position

The Summer 2025 FOX News Media Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in one of the largest media companies in the world. Interns will engage in real-world projects, enhancing their leadership skills and gaining valuable insights into the media industry. This internship is primarily on-site in Washington, DC, and is designed for students actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate in real-world projects related to journalism, production, or technical areas.
• Assist with booking and assignment desk tasks for FOX News and FOX Business.
• Support various FOX News programs such as FOX News @ Night and FOX News Sunday.
• Engage in networking opportunities with fellow interns and professionals within the company.
• Attend FOX Master Classes and Professional Development Series to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above.
• Strong academic record and commitment to work for the entire length of the program.
• Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned internship site.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current events and/or business news.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of current FOX programming and talent.
• Familiarity with software systems relevant to the desired area of placement, such as Adobe Premiere and FinalCut Pro.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
