Summer 2025 FOX Sports Internship Program - Big Ten Network - Chicago

About the position

The FOX Sports Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the sports media industry while interning at one of the largest sports and entertainment companies. Interns will participate in real-world projects across various departments, enhancing their leadership skills and industry knowledge. This is an on-site internship located in Chicago, IL, designed for students actively pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degrees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of new set electronics and performer maintenance on broadcast systems in Broadcast Engineering.
• Collaborate with Digital Content, Digital Partnerships, Streaming, and Video Operations teams to support content strategy and social media distribution.
• Support brand marketing, sports marketing, social media promotion, and event planning initiatives in Marketing.
• Assist in the production of original programming by conducting interviews and organizing BTN assets in Original Production.
• Prepare for live game broadcasts on the Big Ten Network and B1G+ in Remote Production.
• Support the Corporate Partnership department in managing select Big Ten partner activations in Sponsorship.
• Help prepare for the upcoming season and assist with the production of the B1G Today studio show in Studio Production.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above.
• Strong academic record.
• Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program.
• Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned Internship site.
• Must be able to work on-site in Chicago, IL.
