About the position

The Application Engineering Transformation (ATE) Intern position at RTX Corporation offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing a company-wide application transformation program. The intern will collaborate with various teams to design and implement solutions that align with business goals, focusing on cloud migration, application modernization, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and administration of the Application Transformation Engineering (ATE) program to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.
• Assist in the seamless transition of applications to Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Enhance application modernization through the development of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Facilitate the integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) for Enterprise Application Software (EAS) systems.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Services (ES), business units, and external vendors to design and implement a robust transformation solution.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to capture requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Support the creation of project plans and status reports.
• Contribute to the technical design process, including diagram creation and framework outlining.
• Recommend process enhancements for the application transformation.
• Support quality assurance efforts by aiding in test plan development and monitoring solution performance post-implementation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Technology discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
