About the position

The Application Transformation Engineering (ATE) Intern position at RTX Corporation offers an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields to gain hands-on experience in managing a company-wide application transformation program. The intern will collaborate with various teams to design and implement solutions that align with business goals, focusing on cloud transitions and application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and administration of the Application Transformation Engineering (ATE) program to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.
• Assist in the seamless transition of applications to Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Enhance application modernization through the development of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Facilitate the integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) for Enterprise Application Software (EAS) systems.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Services (ES), business units, and external vendors to design and implement a robust transformation solution.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to capture requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Support the creation of project plans and status reports.
• Contribute to the technical design process, including diagram creation and framework outlining.
• Recommend process enhancements for the application transformation.
• Support quality assurance efforts by aiding in test plan development and monitoring solution performance post-implementation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Technology discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
